Who's behind Via Ludens
My name is Ludolf. I’m a biologist, teacher, and tour leader with a deep passion for nature, exploration, and hiking.
After living and working in Albania for several years, and travelling extensively throughout the Balkans, I’ve discovered places that reveal a different side of this extraordinary region: wild landscapes, remote mountain trails, quiet, crystal-clear rivers, and communities where local traditions are still very much alive.
But I also believe that the most rewarding experiences rarely come without effort.
Often, you have to walk further, climb higher, paddle harder, and face discomfort to discover the true beauty of a place.
Because the places that demand the most from us often give us the most in return. With ever-increasing tourist numbers, finding places that still feel wild and authentic means going further, beyond the familiar routes and the destinations already hyped on social media.
These are the experiences I want to share with you: journeys that challenge you, connect you with nature, and stay with you long after the journey is over.
